Crews set to start maintenance on dozens of Columbia streets

The Columbia Public Works Department announced Tuesday that surface seal operations are set to start next week.

Beginning Monday, crews will apply surface sealer to 54 streets, starting with Telluride Lane. The work will continue through the summer until all of the roads are finished.

The city said minor delays are likely and that vehicles that do not follow no parking signs may be ticketed and towed at the owner’s expense.
