Jefferson City seeks feedback over airport’s future

Jefferson City wants feedback from the business community about how it can improve Jefferson City Memorial Airport.

City leaders want to know more about the air service needs for Jefferson City and what is needed to improve the airport.

Right now, the city is preparing to update the airport’s master plan, which was last completed back in 1992-93.

According to the Jefferson City Area Chamber of Commerce, the plan will help guide the future of the airport over the next 20 years.

The master plan is also required so the airport can get grant funding for projects.

If you have questions about the master planning process, you can call Jefferson City Airport Manager Ron Craft at 573.634.6469, or e-mail him at rcraft@jeffcitymo.org, or the project consultant, Tony Davis at tony.davis@jviation.com.
