Soapbox Derby to close East Broadway in Columbia on Sunday
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
Columbia Public Works is reporting East Broadway will be closed between Eighth Street and Providence Road from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday for the Mid Missouri Soap Box Derby.
The derby will start at 8:30 a.m. and will end at about 4 p.m.
The race will begin at Broadway and Seventh Street and end at Broadway and Providence Road.
Tents and hay bales will line the route for spectators.
Parking is free all day on Sundays at all meters and inside city garages.
