Tracking a clear and cool evening with more rain on the way tomorrow night

TONIGHT: Mostly clear and cool with lows in the upper 50s.

TOMORROW: Mostly sunny and comfortable with highs in the upper 70s. Rain moving in again late.

EXTENDED: Skies are clearing behind an active morning that left anywhere from 0.25" to 1.25" of rain across the area. We ended up with about 0.6" at the airport with scattered reports between 0.3" and 0.5" around town. We'll drop into the upper 50s tonight as high pressure briefly settles in. Expect sunshine to start off Thursday with temperatures rising into the upper 70s. We'll keep our eyes peeled for another disturbance that will trigger rounds of storms Thursday night through Friday afternoon. At this point, the ingredients are severe weather aren't as clear cut with less support for strong storms either day. We'll clear out rain by mid-late Friday afternoon, leaving us with temperatures in the upper 70s. We'll end up with another 0.25" or so of rainfall through the end of the week. The weekend is looking awesome with lower humidity and sunshine on Saturday. Sunday will start a warming trend as a warm front lifts in from the southwest, sending temperatures into the upper 80s. This could trigger a few showers on Monday, but we'll be even hotter as the jet stream halts to our north for the week. The pattern next week will be dry with limited rain chances as above average temperatures as we reach the low to mid-90s.
