Tracking continuous showers and storms

Today: Scattered showers and storms will become more widespread this late afternoon along the I-44 corridor as a slight clearing occurs. Flooding has been a concern in northwestern Central Missouri, but the threat will begin to shift to the southeast this afternoon. Wednesday afternoon highs will top out into the mid-70's.

Tonight: Lingering showers and storms will generally shift to the southeastern half of the viewing area with showers that push out by Thursday morning Overnight lows fall to the mid-50's with winds out of at the north at 5-10 mph.

Extended: Throughout the duration of Thursday, sky conditions will gradually begin to clear as winds shift back out of the south late Thursday night. Friday looks to be mostly clear before chances of weekend storms begin to increase starting Saturday afternoon.
