Man arrested after stealing credit card

Columbia police arrested Garry Wilson on Tuesday afternoon after officers were dispatched to the Cash Saver on Broadway for reports of larceny.

Police said the victim paid for groceries at the store with her credit card and then accidentally left the card on the counter.

Wilson was behind her in line and took the credit card, left the business and made fraudulent purchases with the card at two other stores.

Wilson faces possible charges of stealing and fraudulent use of a credit device.
