Lincoln University names new president

A spokesperson for Lincoln University announced on Tuesday that Dr. Jerald Jones Woolfolk will be the university’s 20th president.

Curator Marvin Teer, President of the Board of Curators, says Woolfolk is the right leader for the university at this point in its legacy. “We have a lot of work to do and Dr. Woolfolk is exactly who we need at the helm to move us forward.”

Woolfolk is currently the Vice President for Student Affairs and Enrollment Management at the State University of New York at Oswego.

Woolfolk will start her new position on June 1. Michael Middleton, who has served as Interim President of Lincoln University since July 2017 will continue in that role until then.
