According to RAINN, or the Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network, every 98 seconds an American is sexually assaulted. Social movements like #MeToo and #TimesUp are shining a lot on the issue with more and more victims speaking out about their experiences.

But just how quick are victims able to get justice in Missouri? ABC 17’s Taylor Petras finds out how a lack of state law and regulations is leaving hundreds of kits untested.
