JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) — Missouri lawmakers have passed few bills during the 2022 legislative session, in part because of gridlock in the Republican-led Senate. The GOP-led House continued work on the last day of session Friday to pass any remaining legislation that did not die in the Senate. Senators adjourned Thursday after approving new congressional districts, cutting off work on all other bills. Republicans were able to pass legislation requiring voters to show photo identification at the polls. Bills on critical race theory and transgender student athletes did not pass.
