Troopers arrest wanted man that had Fentanyl, methamphetamine, morphine

Troopers arrested Matthew Edington on Tuesday after officers was alerted that he was traveling on U.S. 54.

Officers said they made contact with the suspect vehicle and found Edington. At first, Edington gave troopers a false name and denied his true identity.

When Edington was taken into custody, officers found he had Fentanyl patches, marijuana, methamphetamine and morphine pills in his crotch region.

According to the probable cause statement, Edington had two active felony warrants.

Edington was charged with possession of a controlled substance with a bond set at $150,000.
