Osage County deputies arrest two after officers find gun, drugs
UPDATE 2 pm: Gee was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance.
According to the probable cause statement, deputies found methamphetamine, pills, spoons, a broken glass pipe and used syringes inside of the truck.
ORIGINAL STORY: Osage County deputies arrested Owen Barlow, 48, and Melanie Gee, 38, after officers were called to the area of County Road 822 for reports of suspicious people.
Deputies said they made contact with Barlow and Gee, who were on foot in the area.
The two told officers that their truck had become stuck. Officers saw the truck and realized it was the same one they had an interaction with on Saturday night when one person got arrested.
Officers found narcotics and a gun and took the two into custody.
Barlow faces possible charges of unlawful possession of a firearm.
Gee faces possible charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Both were taken to the Osage County Jail.
