Auxvasse man officially charged with stealing vehicle
An Auxvasse man is charged with tampering with a motor vehicle, after being accused of stealing a vehicle.
The Callaway County Sheriff’s Office started its investigation Feb. 10th after a stolen vehicle was reported near Hatton.
Later that day, the vehicle was found near Mexico by the Audrain County Sheriff’s Office.
Michael Crum, 20, was identified as the suspect.
On Feb. 16th, Callaway County deputies found Crum on State Road E near Auxvasse. Deputies said he resisted arrest when they tried to take him into custody.
