Columbia Public Works issues lane restrictions on West Broadway due to concrete repair beginning Tuesday

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

At 7 a.m. on Tuesday, Columbia Public Works crews will be performing concrete repairs to West Broadway between Westwood and Edgewood avenues.

There will be daily lane restrictions between 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. while the repairs are being made.

On Tuesday, the eastbound lane of West Broadway will be closed between Edgewood Avenue and Westwood Avenue, and on Wednesday the westbound lane of West Broadway will be closed between Edgewood Avenue and Westwood Avenue.

Crews will be present to alternate the flow of traffic through the open lane. To prevent congestion, motorists should avoid the area and take another route to their destination, if possible.

It is expected that the work will be complete by 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, weather permitting.
