St. Louis FBI officials warn of disturbing pornographic Facebook video
A disturbing pornographic video is making the rounds on social media and FBI officials in St. Louis are warning against sharing it.
According to KTVI, a video containing child pornography has been shared thousands of times on Facebook. Some reported getting the video in their Facebook inbox.
FBI Supervisory Special Agent Chris Johnson said the more times it’s shared, the harder it is to track down the source of the video. Also, sharing the video can lead to serious consequences.
“There is a charge for distribution of child pornography. Even if you’re trying to help,” he told KTVI.
He said people should call law enforcement immediately if they come across it.
Boone County Cyber Crimes detective Tracy Perkins told ABC 17 that there have already been reports of the video being circulated in mid-Missouri.
The criminal case is being handled by the Alabama Bureau of Investigation.
The suspect, Germaine Moore, turned himself into authorities earlier this week. Moore faces 11 felony charges, including sexual assault of a child.
