Boonville police arrest burglary suspect at Valley Hope

Boonville police have arrested a man on three charges of second-degree burglary and one charge of stealing.

Jacob Sharp allegedly broke into three separate employee offices at Valley Hope, an alcohol and drug addiction rehabilitation center, Sunday night.

According to the probable cause statement, another resident in the facility saw Sharp break into the offices.

A paring knife, a note card with computer passwords and speakers were found under Sharp’s bed in his room. All three were apparently taken from the locked offices.

Sharp fled the facility when questioned. He was located by law enforcement and had five CDs from Valley Hope, officials say.

Sharp admitted to stealing the CDs and speakers.

His bail is set at $10,000.
