Missouri S&T officials announced on Tuesday they are investigating reports of racism.

On Twitter, the university said the “extremely insensitive statements” were posted on social media by a member of their community.

Officials said that bigotry and hatred of any kind is not tolerated at the school, “Words and actions that extend beyond free speech and into the area of hate speech, stand in opposition to our deepest values of inclusions and integrity.”
