Mizzou graduate charged again in deadly Philadelphia Amtrak crash

Criminal charges were reinstated against an Amtrak engineer blamed for a deadly 2015 train wreck in Philadelphia.

On Tuesday, a judge overturned a lower court ruling that that threw out the charges against engineer Brandon Bostian.

Investigators said the train was going more than double the speed limit before the crash.

The charges include involuntary manslaughter, reckless endangerment and risking a catastrophe.

Josh Shapiro, Pennsylvania’s Attorney General, said that he plans to seek justice for every crash victim.
