Moniteau County prosecutor expected in Missouri Supreme Court Tuesday

The Missouri Supreme Court will hear a case that involves the Moniteau County prosecutor Tuesday morning.

Shayne Healea is expected to appear in court around 9 a.m. He’s accused of backing into a restaurant in downtown Columbia and leaving the scene afterward in 2014.

Healea has faced felony charges of assault and leaving the scene of an accident ever since.

The attorney general’s office requested the state Supreme Court to hear the case last October.

ABC 17 News will have crews in the courtroom.
