Columbia Public Works begins to treat designated snow routes

Public Works officials announced that a full crew began a 12-hour shift on Monday afternoon.

Crews will be treating designated snow routes, particularly hills, curves, bridges and intersections.

Officials are asking drivers to exercise cautious winter driving as the freezing drizzle begins to fall. Slickness is expected.
