Columbia police search for wanted man accused of robbing another man with gun

Columbia police are looking for a man that has been charged with armed criminal action in Boone County.

According to the probable cause statement, Marcellus Walker met with a male victim to buy his property. Walker was accused of pointing a gun at the man and demanding the property, as well as any other valuables he may have had.

Police said Walker struck the man’s face with the gun. The victim sustained a cut from the encounter.

Officers said Walker fled the area.

According to the probable cause statement, Walker is a convicted felon and should not have a gun.

A warrant has been ordered for the arrest of Walker with a bond set at $50,000.

Walker was also charged with robbery, assault and unlawful possession of a firearm.
