Feeling more like winter as we end the week
TONIGHT: Northwesterly winds tonight will bring in colder air by morning as lows drop to 30 under mostly cloudy skies. Winds up to 13 mph will drop wind chills into the low to mid 20s.
THURSDAY: A second cold front moves through Thursday and temperatures will fall from the upper 30s Thursday afternoon to near 10 Thursday night with single digit wind chills by early Friday morning. Clouds will gradually clear by evening with diminishing northerly winds to near 6 mph.
EXTENDED: After a bitter cold start to the day, temperatures will only reach the low to mid 30s Friday afternoon with increasing clouds and light winds shifting to the south. Temperatures will briefly climb into the low 40s Saturday. There is a slight snow and rain chance Saturday morning. It looks to start off as snow, but briefly changing to rain once temperatures reach above freezing, which will change back to light snow showers by Saturday night. At this time, little to no snow accumulation is expected through Saturday night. Another fast moving wave of low pressure will move through Sunday, bringing another chance of light snow. Sunday will be very cold, with highs only reaching the upper 20s, falling to near 10 Sunday night. This weekend kicks off a fairly active weather pattern that will lead into next week, with another chance of light snow Tuesday.
