Man wanted for conspiracy to commit murder caught in Jackson County

Boone County deputies reported on Wednesday that officers caught a man charged with conspiracy to commit murder.

ABC17 previously reported that Jared Bears and Brian Kelley were charged with conspiracy to commit murder after messages were found between the two describing how Kelley was going to murder an elderly couple and how the men were going to hide the bodies.

A spokesperson for the sheriff’s department said that Bears was caught in Jackson County.

Bears and Kelley are currently in the Boone County Jail.
