Former Mizzou receiver Dorial Green-Beckham arrested
Police in Greene County arrested former Mizzou wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham on suspicion of driving while intoxicated as well as a window tint violation and failure to provide valid license plates.
Officers pulled Green-Beckham over and arrested him at 2:59 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 30. According to police reports he has been released from jail.
Green-Beckham’s comes after being charged twice for marijuana possession during his time playing for Mizzou. The first marijuana arrest came when Green-Beckham was a freshman and the second came in January 2014.
Then head coach Gary Pinkel later dismissed Green-Beckham from the team after he was accused of pushing a woman down a flight of stairs.
The former number one overall recruit caught 1,278 yards in two seasons with Mizzou including 17 touchdowns.
After his time at Mizzou, Green-Beckham enrolled at Oklahoma, but he never played for the Sooners.
The Tennessee Titans drafted Green-Beckham in the second round with the 40th overall selection in the 2015 NFL Draft. He spent just one season with the Titans totaling 549 receiving yards before the team traded him to the Philadelphia Eagles before the 2016 season. After just one season with the Eagles, the team released Green-Beckham from the team.
