No injuries after shed fire near Rocheport

UPDATE 9:11 a.m.: Assistant Fire Chief Gale Blomenkamp said the shed is a total loss. He said the home almost caught on fire, but there were hunters in the area who grabbed hoses to help contain the fire before crews arrived. There are no reported injuries.

ORIGINAL: The Boone County Fire Protection District is currently on the scene of a shed fire near Rocheport.

Crews were first called to the scene at Highway 40 and Rocheport Gravel Road just before 8 a.m. Saturday morning.

ABC 17 News crews on scene said there is heavy smoke in the shed, which is near a home. Conditions are also windy.
