Moniteau deputies find multiple stolen items in woods

Moniteau deputies announced on Wednesday that officers were able to find multiple stolen items on a property near Kliever.

Deputies said they seized the items and transported them back to the sheriff’s department.

Further investigation lead deputies to learn that a hydraulic post driver attachment and mounting plate that was recovered, was reported stolen a few days earlier in Morgan County.

The approximate value of the mounting plate and hydraulic post driver attachment was $6,000.

Officers said they also found a tool box that was reported stolen out of Cole County in 2014.

A cattle gate was also found that was reported stolen out of Moniteau County, officers said.

Deputies said they have identified suspects and their investigation is on-going.
