Officers said Menzel did not know where he was and said he had stopped because he could not drive anymore. Menzel admitted to taking 10 to 20 Xanax.

Police said Menzel was taken to the hospital because he had trouble walking and standing.

Officers said they found a baggie labeled “Vyvanse 40 mg” with two capsules in it, a baggie of Adderall, a baggie labeled “Xan” with several broken pills in it, marijuana and a gun when they searched Menzel’s vehicle.

Menzel faces possible charges of unlawful use of a weapon, possession of a controlled substance and driving while intoxicated.
