TRAFFIC ALERT: Section of Highway 50 closed due to traffic accident

UPDATE 2:30 pm: Troopers said the crash is non-injury but there are utility lines across the roadway.

ORIGINAL STORY: Emergency crews responded to Highway 50 at Pam Jones Road just west of California on Monday afternoon for a traffic accident.

MODOT crews said the highway is closed in both directions and is expected to stay closed for two hours.
