Warmer temperatures return for Sunday

TODAY: A southerly flow has taken over across the area and that means a rebound in temperatures from what we have seen over the last week. As we have been advertising, today will be that day to get out and do any outdoor activities as we will see full sunshine and temperatures warming to near 50 degrees. Although, with winds gusting up to 20 mph consider bring a light coat or windbreaker with wind chills in the upper 30s.

TONIGHT: Our temperatures will ease back into the 30s tonight with today’s winds subsiding. However, we will see a light breeze to near 5mph and it will make that 30 degrees feel closer to 20 so make sure you bundle up you decide to head out later tonight and when you are off to work Monday morning.

EXTENDED: The work week will start with above average temperatures as we climb into the low 50s Monday but another cold front will move through, dropping temperatures again by next Tuesday with afternoon highs in the upper 30s. We look to modify again by Wednesday as highs rise back into the mid 40s.. A weak disturbance tracks through Mid-Missouri by Thursday which could bring a few flurries, but the overall weather pattern remains dry through most of next week.
