Columbia city leaders scheduled to give update on Columbia Regional Airport

Columbia city leaders are giving an update on Columbia Regional Airport.

It is scheduled for 9 a.m. Wednesday at the airport.

The mayor is expected to give more information about future airport plans. Last year, the city passed a hotel tax increase that would help fund construction of a new terminal.

United Airlines became the second airline with flights to Columbia Regional in August after American Airlines.
