Boone County deputies arrest felon accused of threatening man with a gun

Boone County deputies arrested Jeffrey Lammers on Thursday night after deputies responded to the 2100 block of Lammers Lane for a reported physical disturbance with a gun.

According to the probable cause statement, a neighbor called and reported there were a lot of people waving guns around and threatening to shoot each other.

The victim told deputies that Lammers pointed a gun at him and told him to leave the residence. Lammers proceeded to poke the firearm into the victim’s back and told him to leave again, the victim said.

Officers said Lammers attempted to cause physical injury to the victim and that he is not allowed to have a gun because he is a convicted felon.

Lammers was charged with unlawful use of a weapon, assault and unlawful possession of a firearm.
