Coldest night so far, warming Friday

TONIGHT: It will be coldest night yet this season with low temperatures in the mid to upper teens by morning. A southwest breeze at 5-8 mph will create wind chills of 6-12 degrees under mostly clear skies.

FRIDAY: After a frigid morning, temperatures will warm to near 40 in the afternoon due to a southwesterly breeze up to 12 mph. The breeze will make it feel colder, generating wind chills in the upper 20s to lower 30s Friday afternoon. Quite a few clouds will move through, giving us a partly to mostly cloudy sky.

EXTENDED: It will be cold with mostly cloudy skies Friday night with lows in the mid 20s. It looks breezy and cold Saturday with highs in the mid to upper 30s with clouds moving out in the morning. Northwesterly winds at 15 mph will gust as high as 25 mph, producing wind chills in the upper teens and lower 20s Saturday, making for a cold day with decreasing clouds. We’ll warm up Sunday, reaching near 50 under partly cloudy skies. The work week will start with above average temperatures as we climb into the upper 40s Monday but another cold front will move through, dropping temperatures again by next Tuesday with afternoon highs near 40. We look to modify again by Wednesday as highs rise back into the mid 40s as the dry weather pattern continues.
