Mild weekend, rain Monday

TONIGHT: We will see passing clouds as temperatures drop into the upper 30s by morning with southerly winds up to 8 mph.

SATURDAY: The weather looks pleasant to get outdoors as temperatures climb to 60 degrees under sunny skies. Winds will light and variable, shifting to the east by evening.

EXTENDED: Sunday will start with morning lows near 40, climbing to the low to mid 60s in the afternoon under partly cloudy skies. A cold front moves through Monday which will bring clouds and a chance of rain.A few showers are possible by mid-afternoon but most of the rain moves in during the evening and overnight, ending by 5 AM. Rainfall accumulation looks less than .50″ for most of mid-Missouri. Temperatures ahead of this front will reach the mid 60s on Monday but cooler air moves in by Monday night, leaving us with a seasonal day Tuesday with high temperatures in the upper 40s. Colder air moves in through the week with arctic air arriving by next weekend. High temperatures by Thursday will only reach into the 30s with nights dipping into the 20s with colder air by the weekend.
