Continued dry with above average temperatures
TODAY: Skies will remain mostly cloudy with a few breaks in the clouds as temperatures remain cool. Highs will reach the mid to upper 50s with an easterly breeze at 5-10 mph.
TONIGHT: There is a slight chance of spot showers with the best chance in the Ozarks, closer to I-44. Any rain that does fall will be light with a tenth of an inch or less. Lows will drop into the upper 30s north of I-70 to the lower 40s south under mostly cloudy skies.
EXTENDED: By Thursday morning skies will begin to clear with plenty of sunshine all day long. Thursday and Friday will be cool and dry with highs in the mid 50s and nights in the 30s. The first weekend of December looks nothing like winter as temperatures warm back into the mid 50s, reaching near 60 Sunday. We’ll have sunny skies Saturday with some clouds moving in Sunday but it will stay dry. We’ll reach into the lower 60s next Monday before much colder air arrives starting Tuesday with a chance of rain.
