Man arrested after Camden County deputies find more than 300 grams of marijuana, mushrooms

Camden County deputies arrested Bernard Otzenberger on Monday after officers executed a search warrant at a residence on Cherokee Road.

According to the probable cause statement, when officers searched the house, they found 314 grams of high-grade marijuana, 53 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, liquid testosterone and an assortment of drug paraphernalia.

Deputies said they also found $2,278 in cash.

Officers said Otzenberger admitted he had been distributing high-grade marijuana and claimed he had exclusively been selling it for the past six months.

According to the probable cause statement, officers found drug-related messages on Otzenberger’s phone.

Otzenberger was charged with delivery of a controlled substance.
