Tracking frost Tuesday morning, warmer afternoon temperatures
TONIGHT: Mostly clear and cold with lows falling into the mid-30s. Frost developing with light winds in place.
TOMORROW: Mostly sunny and warmer with highs in the lower 60s.
EXTENDED: Clouds have cleared out and winds will continue to gradually diminish tonight with high pressure working into the region. A Frost Advisory is in effect for much of the area through 9AM tomorrow as lows will drop into the mid-30s. Tomorrow will be touch warmer with sunshine getting us into the lower 60s. Wednesday is warmer with highs near 70, but clouds move in toward evening as a warm front begins to lift across the area and stall out by Thursday. A series of disturbances will work along this boundary through the end of the week, bringing repeated chances for rain and storms on Thursday and Friday. The associated cold front will finally push east through Mid-Missouri on Saturday, bringing the final push of rain and a few storms. Severe weather doesn't look likely in our area at this time, but we'll keep an eye on how it all evolves over the next few days. Sunday will be drier, but there may be a few lingering showers wrapping around low pressure to our north. Temperatures get into the mid-60s Thursday, but hover near or just above 70 Friday through Sunday. Rain amounts will be in the 1-1.5" range between Thursday and Sunday.
