Columbia man arrested after MSHP intercepts 31 pounds of marijuana on I-70

A Columbia man was arrested for distribution/delivering/manufacturing/producing a controlled substance and a misdemeanor warrant for driving while suspended after the Missouri State Highway Patrol intercepted 31 pounds of marijuana on an interdiction stop on I-70.

Adrian Pendroza-Velazquez was supposed to be picking up the marijuana at a business. Pendroza-Velazquez went to a lot at 1400 Creekwood Parkway, which is listed as Candlewood Suites in Columbia.

The investigation revealed that Pendroza-Velazquez was the suspect and he was arrested.
