Police: 1 killed, another wounded in Missouri home invasion

FULTON, Mo. (AP) — Police in east-central Missouri say one man was killed and another injured in a home invasion. Television station KOMU reports the incident happened Monday night in Fulton. Fulton police say officers were called to a home just before 9 p.m. for a report of gunfire and found a 58-year-old man with life-threatening gunshot wounds and a 33-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the leg. Both men were taken to hospitals, where the older man died. Their names were not immediately released. Police say the shooting happened during a home invasion during which a female resident of the house was assaulted. No arrests or suspects have been reported.
