Columbia police investigate crime scene on Rangeline Street

UPDATE 2: Officers cleared the scene just before 10:15 p.m.

UPDATE 1: The car has been towed from the scene. Officers are still searching the area.

ORIGINAL: The Columbia Police Department said it was investigating an “active crime scene” Friday night.

Officers have not yet said what the crime may entail.

They could be seen searching a vehicle with its doors open in the 1100 block of Rangeline Street.

ABC 17 News is on the scene working to find out more and will update this article with that information.
