Sheriff’s Office offers reward for information regarding two Pemiscot County escapees

The Pemiscot County Sheriff’s Department is offering a $1,000 reward for information on two escapees.

On Oct. 15, William Carter and Joseph Latamondeer escaped the Pemiscot County Jail.

Latamondeer plead guilty and was awaiting sentencing for domestic assault.

Latamondeer also had charges pending including, theft and resisting arrest.

Carter is facing charges for two counts of murder in the first degree.

Deputies ask anyone with information on the whereabouts of Carter and Latamondeer or sightings of either man are asked to contact Cpt. Michael Coleman at (573) 333-4101 or Missouri State Highway Patrol at (573) 840-9500.
