Tracking an Easter rain and a weak warm up next week

TONIGHT:

Rain exits for most by mid-afternoon, with a cold front pushing it completely out of mid-Missouri by 7p.m. or so. Skies will start to clear after the rain exits, but high cloud cover moves in from the west. This won't introduce any more chances for rain overnight. We're cooling into the low 40's early Saturday.

TOMORROW:

Saturday ends up partly cloudy with high to mid level clouds sticking around for much of the day. Still, I don't expect a blanket of overcast clouds, so keep the sunglasses handy. Overall, Saturday is cool with north winds behind today's cold front. Despite clouds, Saturday remains dry.

EXTENDED:

Easter Sunday starts off cool and wet with widespread showers throughout the morning and afternoon hours. Temperatures begin in the lower '40s peaking out into the early '50s by the afternoon. Cooler than average is the trend into mid-week next week. Temperatures do begin a warming trend that lasts at least through Wednesday, but that leads to mid-week rain chances Tuesday through Thursday.
