Chilly start to the work week

MONDAY: Waking up will be a cold one as overnight lows bottom out towards 40 degrees with an even cooler wind chill under clear skies. After a chilly start to the day, southwest winds will warm us into the mid and upper 60s. This is more seasonal for this time of year. Humidity will remain low through the day, but a ridge to our west will begin to expand eastward and gradually warming us up. Winds will be out of the southwest under 10 mph.

TONIGHT: Another clear night will allow temperatures to drop back into the 50s through the evening hours. Tomorrow morning will be a chilly start as overnight lows bottom out in the low 40s with a light southerly breeze.

EXTENDED: As high pressure tracks off to the east, we’ll see a return of southerly flow causing the return of warmth and moisture. This will lead to increasing temperatures through the majority of this week, with highs climbing into the upper 70s and lows into the upper 50s by the end of the week. The entire work week will remain dry with our next chance of rain looking to hold out until late Saturday evening as another cold front drops into the area.
