TRAFFIC ALERT: Crews shut down multiple lanes of Missouri Boulevard in Jefferson City

The Missouri Department of Transportation is warning Jefferson City drivers of possible delays on Missouri Boulevard Thursday.

Multiple lanes of Missouri Boulevard will be shut down near Dix Road throughout the day.

MoDOT said crews will be working with the city to fix damaged pavement after a water main break that happened around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area if possible.
