Windows broken again at Columbia barber shop

Police are investigating another report of vandalism in less than a month at a Columbia barber shop.

The front glass doors to JT’s Cutz in the 800 block of Old Highway 63 were found shattered Saturday night. Officers on scene said someone threw a rock through the doors.

The owner said it was the same type of rock used in past incidents. Last month, he told ABC 17 News his business had been hit by rocks multiple times in recent weeks.

H.T. May and Son Funeral Home and St. Paul AME Church also had windows shattered by rocks around the same time in September.

CPD has not yet confirmed whether the incidents are connected.
