A wet start to the weekend, drying out by Sunday

TODAY: A line of showers and isolated thunderstorms will gradually move east through early afternoon, with most areas drying out by 2 PM. It will be breezy with westerly winds up to 16 mph, and gusts up to 30 mph. Temperatures will stay mild, reaching the lower 70s.

TONIGHT: Dry conditions and clear skies will be featured tonight. Overnight lows will drop into the lower 50s with light westerly winds under 7 mph.

EXTENDED: Sunday will be warm and dry with high temperatures reaching the lower 80s under mostly sunny skies. The dry weather will continue into Monday as temperatures remain warm, near 80. Cooler air arrives Tuesday, bringing another chance of showers and thunderstorms. High temperatures will drop into the upper 60s to lower 70s from Tuesday through Thursday with nights cooling to near 50 degrees.
