One taken to hospital after two-car crash in Cooper County

Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to a two-vehicle collision on I-70 in the eastbound lanes of traffic on Wednesday in Cooper County.

According to the traffic report, the crash happened when a Nissan Armada and a Honda Accord were traveling on the highway and the Nissan slowed down due to traffic congestion.

Troopers said the Honda struck the Nissan.

The Nissan had minor damage and was able to be driven from the scene.

Cory Poling, the driver of the Honda, had moderate injuries and was transported to University Hospital.

Troopers said the Honda was totaled.
