Macon police arrest man accused of child abuse
Macon police arrested Anthony Benton, 34, after officers assisted a children’s division investigator on a report of child abuse.
Police said as a result of the investigation, officers obtained an arrest warrant for Benton.
Police said they found Benton in the 900 block of Martin Street and arrested him.
Officers said Benton posted bond and was released pending his court date.
