Man hurt after crash on I-70 in Saline County

SALINE COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Warsaw man was hurt on Wednesday afternoon following a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 70 in Saline County.

The crash happened around 12:40 p.m. near Sweet Springs, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. Troopers said a pickup truck driven by James S. Miller, 58, hit a semi-truck in the westbound lanes of traffic.

Emergency crews took Miller to a hospital with serious injuries. Troopers said Miller wasn't wearing a seat belt.

The driver of the semi-truck wasn't hurt in the crash.
