Mild through the weekend, heating up next week
TONIGHT: Skies will remain clear as temperatures drop back near 50 degrees. The northerly breeze will calm through the overnight hours.
FRIDAY: The mild weather continues Friday with high temperatures in the upper 70s under mostly sunny skies. For Sports Zone Football Friday, temperatures will be in the low 70s for kickoff and cooling into the mid 60s by the end of the fourth quarter. It will be cool again Friday night as we drop to near 50 by Saturday morning.
EXTENDED: Saturday and Sunday look to remain pleasant, mild and dry for Roots N Blues N BBQ. Nights will drop into the lower 50s Saturday night with high temperatures in the mid to upper 70s with mostly sunny skies. Summer-like weather returns next week as high temperatures climb into the low to mid 80s and nights warm into the lower 60s. At this time, there is no rain in the forecast through the middle of next week due to a ridge of high pressure building aloft.By the end of next week this ridge is expected to break down, allowing lower pressure to move in and possibly bring rain and milder temperatures. We will watch the changing weather pattern and will have updates. Please check back for updates to next week’s forecast.
