Woman wearing ski mask attempts to rob Gasconade County drug store

Hermann Police responded to the 100 block of Bavarian Hills Boulevard for reports of a woman attempting to steal drugs from Berlener Drug Store on Thursday.

According to the probable cause statement, Jennifer Marrero disguised herself by wearing a ski mask over her face, latex gloves and a hooded sweatshirt and entered the drug store.

Police say Marrero was armed with a loaded handgun and attempted to steal a controlled substance from the pharmacy.

Marrero allegedly pointed the weapon at the employees and threatened to shoot them if they did not give her oxycodone.

Marrero became more aggresive and continued to approach one of the employees demanding the drugs.

Police say the employee knocked the gun away from Marrero forcing her to the ground and restraining her till authorities arrived.

Police arrested Marrero and secured the loaded gun.
