Clouds from Irma bring a chance of showers through tonight
TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy skies will remain through the overnight hours as moisture from Irma sticks around. Spot showers are possible through the night, as Irma continues to track to the northeast. Overnight lows will drop back into the mid to upper 50s with winds out of the north under 10 mph.
WEDNESDAY: There is a chance of a spot shower in the morning east of HWY 63 as clouds hang around. Areas west will start to see sunshine in the morning with clouds clearing from west to east through the day. High temperatures will reach near 80 with a north breeze under 8 mph shifting to the south in the evening.
EXTENDED: It will feel more like summer as a south breeze and mostly sunny skies bring temperatures up into the upper 80s Thursday and to near 90 Friday and Saturday. Friday evening will be warm for SportsZone Football Friday as temperatures start off in the mid 80s, only dropping to near 80 by 9 PM. It will feel slightly more humid as dew points climb into the low to mid 60s through the weekend. The Tigers will have hot weather for the start of the game Saturday with temperatures near 90 at 3 PM kickoff and will stay in the 80s through the game with light southerly winds under 8 mph. Late Saturday night into Sunday morning there is a chance of t-storms mainly north of I-70. High temperatures will reach the upper 80s Sunday and spot storms will be possible again Sunday afternoon. As a weak front slowly moves through, we’ll have slight storm chances through Tuesday as temperatures reach into the low to mid 80s to start the work week.
